What’s the case?
PUBG Mobile International Champions is to be held between 22nd and 28th July 2019.
Various teams from the Indian gaming community and influencers were supposed to be participating in the championship.
But the Visa applications of all teams were rejected by the embassy, without a concrete reason.
What’s next?
The entire community came together and unanimously decided to bring this to the notice of the embassy and external affairs minister H.E. Dr. S. Jaishankar.
Hence they tweeted this below embedded tweet, which went viral immediately and it started trending #1 in India under 2 minutes.
Lack of recognition has led our Indian Esports team & Influencers not receiving VISA on time for representing our nation in a global tournament happening on 20th July in Berlin. Kindly look into this matter #IndiaatPMCO@GermanyinIndia @DrSJaishankar @MEAIndia @AmbLindnerIndia
